SF/F/H preferences:

I'm focusing mostly on SF at this time with a slight romantic spin to it.

Publications, if any:

None yet...

Anything else you think would interest other members:

I'm a 49 year old college professor teaching computer, network, and telecommunications engineering. I've been in the IT business so long that I still call it Data Processing half of the time.

Interests... Where to start... I live near San Diego, CA so it's a good thing that I like sunshine and nice weather. I like cats (I have 10 of them, three that have only five eyes and four ears between them) and a dog with only three legs.

My SO (Cindee) and I live in the small town of Guatay and if you've ever watched the Discovery Channel shows about body modification, you've seen a neighbor and good friend, the Cat Man. Dennis is really a nice guy, but he scares the horses.

I'm into amateur (Ham) radio and I enjoy standing in strong RF fields. I am, of course, also into computers. In fact, I have a Commodore +4 that serves as my network print server here at home. I like the new fast PCs because they give off microwave radiation while operating. See above.

I'm new to writing, but not to reading, SF. While I said that I tend to the SF side of things, a few of the short stories that I've been playing with seem to have a bit of a fantasy spin and I guess that one could be considered soft horror.

I have done some fiction writing in the past, however. At all three of the colleges that I have taught for over the years, I have written textbooks for in-house publication and use by our students. Let’s face facts… College textbooks are fiction and have little to do with the real world. Where else could you take five minutes of information and make it fit into a two hour lecture?
