I am a long-time reader of the fantasy genre, but a first-time writer of it. I've dabbled with writing before; never seriously until now.

I enjoy Tolkien, Jordan, Rawn, Eddings, Feist, Rowling, Anthony, King, and a host of others. I prefer to read (and review) works that have at least one of the following going for it - uniqueness, easy-to-read style, or fascinating characters and/or setting.

I've read some horror and have found it enjoyable, but I am by no means an expert in the genre. Ditto for SF.

I'm 37. I have a B.S. in Computer Science. I have a wife, a daughter, and a son. I've fenced for a number of years, I enjoy home remodeling and landscaping, and I am a musician.
