From the heart of Appalachia comes a fresh, new voice, authentic and believable, yet Diane Ryan sizzles with energy--the kind generated by star-crossed lovers, and the electromagnetic kind that can generate miracles of physics and leaps of faith. A 21st C ghost hunter falls in love with a Civil War soldier dead for 150 years. Their love transcends time and the laws of nature. Fantastic story, with a sequel due in 2017.
An amazing and unqiue storyline. Characters I could actually relate to and invest in.
I do not usually read this type of genre, but the characters were so well fleshed out, that I really enjoyed this book.
Not only is it an absolutely awesome book, one that inspired me to include far more paranormal fiction in my reading list, but the profits for sales go to support a small animal rescue. So in addition to being great entertainment, it leaves you feeling good about helping desperate animals.
